E&I Project Engineer

The E&I Project Engineer will provide electrical and instrumentation engineering support for projects, working closely with production, utilities, environmental, technical, and administrative teams. The role involves helping to define and deliver projects that meet user requirements, stay within budget and timelines, and comply with regulatory and company standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop project scopes with relevant teams and end users.
- Prepare project estimates and support capital request approvals.
- Produce tender and construction scope of work packages.
- Prepare E&I design documentation including specifications, wiring diagrams, I/O lists, schematics, layouts, schedules, and load studies.
- Review electrical and instrumentation design packages from external engineering companies.
- Support technical and commercial reviews of contractor bids with purchasing teams.
- Ensure projects comply with GMP, validation, regulatory, and company requirements.
- Monitor project scope, cost, and schedule performance.
- Provide oversight of electrical and instrumentation construction activities.
- Identify and help resolve engineering, contractor, vendor, and system-related issues.
- Ensure E&I maintenance requirements are included within projects.
Requirements
- Technical qualification in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Project, Excel, and Access.
- Good communication skills.
- Proficient in English.
- Ability to work independently and occasionally travel for site visits, training, or meetings.
