Blackfield Associates are partnered with a Pharmaceutical Consultancy in their search for a Remote Qualified Person in Ireland.
Responsibilities
The QP will be responsible for the certification and release of pharmaceutical products across a range of dosage forms and product types, ensuring full compliance with EU GMP requirements and applicable regulatory standards. This is a key role within the consultancy, supporting client operations while maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance, and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Acting as the Qualified Person for the certification and release of pharmaceutical products across multiple product types, ensuring compliance with EU GMP and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients to support a quality-focused culture across all product release and compliance activities.
- Maintaining and developing quality management systems in line with EU GMP and wider regulatory expectations.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, providing expert guidance on product quality, batch certification, and regulatory compliance matters.
- Staying up to date with current EU regulatory requirements and industry best practices to ensure ongoing compliance and awareness.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline, with an advanced degree preferred, and must be eligible to act as a Qualified Person in accordance with EU regulations. They will have a strong understanding of EU GMP, product release processes across multiple dosage forms, and the associated regulatory frameworks. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and internal teams while offering expert guidance on complex quality and regulatory matters within a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
