We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead the delivery of a new filling line as part of a high-profile pharmaceutical manufacturing project in Spain.
Contract Duration: 12 months with potential extension (starting September)
Language Requirement: Fluent Spanish (interviews will be conducted in Spanish)
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of a new filling line package from design through commissioning activities.
- Manage vendor scope, schedules, deliverables, and interfaces.
- Coordinate activities between internal stakeholders, equipment suppliers, and site teams.
- Drive project timelines and ensure milestones are achieved.
- Support equipment procurement, installation, and commissioning activities.
- Oversee pre-SAT and SAT activities through project completion.
- Manage communication with equipment vendors and coordinate site activities as required.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences projects.
- Strong project engineering or project management experience within manufacturing or capital projects.
- Experience managing equipment vendors and package delivery.
- Previous experience with filling equipment or aseptic manufacturing projects.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work in a fast-paced project environment.
- Fluent Spanish communication skills are essential.
Travel Requirements
- Initially largely remote with site visits approximately every 5–6 weeks.
- Regular travel to equipment vendors across Europe will be required throughout the contract.
- From April, the successful candidate will be required to work full-time on site
