Blackfield Associates is supporting a leading organisation in the search for an experienced Technical Project Manager on an initial 12-month contract, with potential for extension.
This role is ideal for a technically minded project manager with experience delivering infrastructure, systems integration, or enterprise technology projects. You will lead projects from initiation through to deployment, managing stakeholders, risks, timelines, and budgets while acting as the bridge between technical teams and business users.
Responsibilities
- Deliver technical projects across the full project lifecycle
- Manage system deployments, upgrades, migrations, and decommissioning activities
- Develop project plans, manage risks, and track progress
- Coordinate technical and business stakeholders
- Ensure compliance, security, and governance requirements are met
- Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in IT infrastructure, systems integration, or related technical environments
- 3+ years’ experience in project management
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage risks, issues, and project delivery
- HNC/HND, degree, or equivalent in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
- Relevant project management certifications beneficial
