I have been part of Blackfield Associates since the start of 2019. Little did I know that my background in Computer Science, paired with my natural outgoing nature, would mean recruiting in the Life Sciences would be the perfect fit for me! I began my career at Blackfield, working closely with Nathan Sutton and picking up his old Validation desk. Even today, recruiting closely to that area is what I enjoy most, whether it’s a CSV consultant to aid the launch of a new, niche system, or a C&Q Manager to work on a large-scale greenfield project in Europe. My biggest achievement with the company was being promoted to Operations Manager and being given the opportunity to look after our international offering for Quality, Regulatory and Technical Operations, with the objective of establishing Blackfield as the industry’s partner of choice. Outside of work, I enjoy walking through the rural parts of the south coast and finding vinyl shops for my ever-growing collection of 70s and 80s rock records. On wetter days, I like to stay in and enjoy films from the same period.
