Bio

I joined STR in 2012, starting in the old Engineering & Manufacturing team, working across the UK. I focused my time and attention on the pharmaceutical industry, an area unknown to STR at the time. I was driven in this direction due to losing my dad to cancer 10 days before I joined the business. I always felt it was my opportunity to give something back. Almost 5 years to the day I joined, we branded the Life Science division as Blackfield Associates in 2017 and I became Operations Manager. One of my objectives was to internationalise the business and in 2022, we opened an office in Zug, Switzerland, to better serve our European client base. I am now Executive Director for Blackfield and board member for the STR Group. I oversee our strategic development and continued growth across our vertical markets. I am obsessed with high performance, continuous improvement and the ever-advancing technology we are exposed to. Outside of work, I am a family man who enjoys his sport, music, games, books and, dare I say it, my Star Wars Lego collection!
