I graduated from Northumbria University in 2006 with a degree in Business Studies. I then went to work offshore for 4 years as a Seismic Navigator before trying my hand at recruitment, joining STR in 2010. Safe to say, it was a great career move! In my spare time, I love going on long, hot holidays. I love the beach and spend as much time there with my family as possible. I particularly enjoy cheering on my young son playing football. I’m a massive sports fan. My wife thinks I have an actual addiction! I’ll get fully invested in even the most obscure sports. I’m also a huge music fan (any genre) and play the guitar. With over 15 years of experience in the recruitment industry, I am a passionate and driven Group Director of Solutions at STR Group, a global provider of recruitment, staffing, and outsourcing solutions for the STEM sector. I specialise in offering best-in-class executive search and retained search solutions to new and existing clients across a range of STEM-led industries that comprise our Group. My mission is to help clients find and attract the most qualified and diverse talent for their C-suite and Senior Management teams. I also assist and advise our clients on Multi-hire projects, International expansion, and Talent insights. In my current role, I am responsible for developing and delivering a suite of solutions across six specialist brands, each focusing on a different niche within the STEM market. I also actively engage in executive and retained search assignments, leveraging my own and the Groups extensive network and knowledge of STEM sectors. I have successfully completed a number of challenging and complex searches globally, helping our clients recruit top talent for their strategic and operational roles.
