We are currently supporting a large pharmaceutical client who is looking for an Electrical Project Manager to join on a contract basis.
The successful candidate will support a major electrical infrastructure upgrade project focused on improving and consolidating existing backup power systems, as well as managing system tie-ins across the site. The work must be carried out while the plant remains fully operational, requiring strong planning, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage electrical infrastructure upgrade projects across the site
- Oversee improvements and consolidation of backup power systems
- Coordinate and manage electrical system tie-ins with minimal operational disruption
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Coordinate contractors, engineers, and site stakeholders
- Ensure all work is delivered safely, on time, and in line with quality standards
- Manage project risks and support ongoing plant operations throughout project delivery
- Provide regular project updates and reporting
Requirements
- Previous experience managing electrical infrastructure or upgrade projects
- Strong understanding of both low and high voltage systems
- Experience working within live manufacturing or operational plant environments
- Engineering background is essential
- Strong contractor and stakeholder management experience
- Fluent English is required
- Dutch language skills are advantageous
