Blackfield Associates are currently supporting one of our key pharmaceutical manufacturing partners in their search for an Automation Project Lead (DeltaV) to support a new $500 million+ greenfield investment programme in Denver, Colorado.
This is a site-based, multi-year contract assignment offering a key leadership role for automation within a major capital investment. The position is focused on managerial oversight, project delivery, and technical governance, making it less of an individual contributor DeltaV programming role.
Requirements
Automation Project Lead (DeltaV) – Contract | Denver, Colorado
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for oversight of DeltaV automation deliverables throughout the full project lifecycle, including design, construction, execution, and validation.
- Review and challenge the programming, functional specifications, and technical documentation produced by vendors and project partners to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Monitor and verify that deliverables meet project requirements and quality standards.
- Ensure technical alignment and the successful execution of the DeltaV scope.
Requirements:
- Strong DeltaV technical expertise with proven experience leading automation projects.
- Experience supporting new-build life sciences manufacturing projects within FDA/GMP-regulated environments.
- Ability to review, challenge, and validate techcnial vendor documentation and strategies.
