Responsibilities
We are hiring on behalf of our client for a Deputy PMO Lead to support the day-to-day leadership and operation of a major Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical CAPEX programme valued at $1bn+. This role is responsible for ensuring effective delivery of project controls, governance, scheduling, reporting, risk management, and cross-functional coordination within a complex project environment.
Acting as the PMO Lead’s deputy, the successful candidate will provide continuity of leadership, represent the PMO in governance forums, oversee the Integrated Master Schedule process, drive issue resolution across workstreams, manage reporting and decision logs, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires a strong PMO professional who can operate independently, influence stakeholders, and maintain operational discipline across large-scale capital projects.
Required Experience:
- Proven PMO leadership experience on Life Sciences, Biotech, Pharmaceutical, or Advanced Manufacturing projects
- Demonstrated experience supporting CAPEX programmes valued at $1 billion+
- Strong background in project controls, governance, scheduling, reporting, and risk management
- Experience working within complex, multi-stakeholder project delivery environments
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive programme performance
