We’re supporting a global pharmaceutical manufacturer that is investing heavily in its facilities and is looking for a CAPEX Project Manager to join the team. You’ll play a key role in delivering a range of capital projects, working alongside multidisciplinary teams to support projects from initial planning through to commissioning and handover.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the delivery of CAPEX projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time and within budget.
- Coordinating engineering activities across process, utilities, facilities, automation and external contractors.
- Reviewing engineering drawings, technical specifications and project documentation.
- Assisting with project planning, scheduling, cost tracking and risk management.
- Supporting commissioning, qualification and handover activities.
- Ensuring projects comply with GMP, quality and health & safety standards.
- Working closely with engineering, operations, quality and project teams to resolve technical challenges and drive successful project delivery.
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial or a related Engineering discipline.
- Previous experience delivering CAPEX or engineering projects within pharmaceuticals, biotechnology or another regulated manufacturing environment.
- Good understanding of project delivery, contractor management and engineering documentation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
